libavahi-glib-dev software package provides Development headers for the Avahi GLib integration library, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libavahi-glib-dev
libavahi-glib-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libavahi-glib-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libavahi-glib-dev *
You will get with libavahi-glib-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
